How did you trim/cut the RIGID fiberglass?

A fine toothed saw blade, such as a hacksaw blade.

 

How do you connect the pieces for the backing frame?

You can use a corner bracket or drill screws in from the sides to the middle pieces

 

How much did each trap cost?

$25-30, depending on the type of fabric you use.

How does it compare to Aurelex?

There is no comparison, RIGID or rockwool are much more efficient at trapping low end.

Why do you leave space between the trap and the wall?

The space increases the efficiency of trapping low end frequencies. Generally, the gap should be the same thickness as the trap.
